The Arma range of general purpose, wear resistant coatings were developed in conjunction with the University of Sheffield and are exclusively available from Chapmans Ltd. Our hard coatings range now comprises:
Tungsten carbide tiles inserted into 55 RC hardened boron parts provide the ultimate solution in extreme conditions. Increase wear life by six to ten times.
Principally for applications involving ground engaging, wear life is extended by layers of protective welding of up to 63 RC.
This new innovation takes traditional welded hard facing to new heights. The addition of small Tungsten Carbide chips to the Armaweld formula enables length of service almost in line with Tungsten carbide plates, but which can withstand a greater level of impact.
Our unique sintered coating can be applied by dip or spray and is particularly suitable for parts with complex geometries. In most cases, extends wear life by two to three times. Particularly suited to acidic applications.
A recent development of the Armatech concept sees the addition of
Tungsten Carbide particles to the standard formula, permitting enhanced wear life of four to five times. All the benefits of its sister coating…. and more.
