Chapmans have invested in a new EDM wire eroding machine that gives Chapmans the capability to machine complex geometries without adding stress to the material. This is particularly useful for application where tungsten carbide tiles need to be cut to fit on a part.
Chapmans also use this machine to perform destructive testing of parts to analyse everything from porosity of welds to material failure points.
