We’ve made it to March, soon winter will make room
For Spring to come in: wildflowers will bloom
Farmers are busy with lambing and calving
Their nightly hours of sleep dramatically halving.
Every evening is lighter, and so is the morning
We start to dream of sitting under the awning
Of a caravan, in the twilight, refreshment in hand
Watching the sunset over the sea and the sand.
After torrents of rain, the dark and the cold
Improved weather is coming, out with the old!
And so we look forward to the rest of the year
