As a manufacturer of metal wearing parts, Chapmans takes Quality Control extremely seriously.  Our team of QC inspectors work tirelessly to ensure any issues arising during development and pre-production processes are picked up quickly and resolved before production batches are even launched.

With forebears such as Benjamin Huntsman (Crucible Steel Process, 1742) and Henry Bessemer (Converter Furnace, 1850s) Sheffield’s mantle as the “Steel City” means that businesses like Chapmans must strive to maintain an exceptionally high quality standard in their products.

Aside from the commercial impact of substandard goods, many of our products are used on fast-rotating machines, so sourcing quality material is also of the utmost importance.  Nowadays we are proud to carry  ISO9001 certification, meaning our customers can have complete confidence in the quality of all our products.
